Cultivating Community on Social Media and Blooming Through Art With Reyna Noriega
We sat down with the incredible Illustrator, Educator and Author of In Bloom, Reyna Noriega. Reyna's vibrant artwork has been seen everywhere from The Creative Collective NYC, Clinique, American Express, Allure, The Knot, Hulu, Girls Who Code, and Apple. Reyna's work is dedicated to highlighting, uplifting and helping women heal & find happiness. She uses her artwork to illustrate and represent women of color in ways that we don't always get to see. "I choose to celebrate all of the most beautiful things about being a woman of color. The femininity, the confidence because so often the odds are stacked against us.”
In the episode, Reyna shares:
What it means to give yourself permission to bloom and take the risk of pursuing your own gifts after pouring so much into everyone else.
