The Future of The Film Industry with Female Filmmaker of The Year Niki Koss
Today on the show we’re chatting with LA Born Niki Koss, an award winning actress, producer, director and filmmaker. Niki is an all around powerhouse. She was recently included in the entertainment list of Forbes 30 Under 30 and was also the winner of the Female Filmmaker of the Year at the 2019 Burbank International Film Festival.
You've definitely seen her work on your screen. She's a series regular on the acclaimed Freeform Network series, "Famous In Love” as Alexis Glenn. Nikki is passionate about telling stories that contribute to changing the world in a positive way and recently launched her award winning production company, K Factor Films to do just that.
She is a member of Women in Media, Women in Film, Glass Elevator and the Alliance of Women Directors as well as a Sundance Directing Fellowship and WIF Producing Mentorship alumni. Niki is also a board member of PATH and is particularly passionate about female empowerment within the entertainment industry and putting an end to homelessness.
Her inaugural directorial film, “Night, Night” debuted last November.
